This Knot is great when using it to secure a hook to your fishing line. This knot includes some very simple steps that include doubling the line while you tie the knot at one point and then simply loop the other part over the hook, you then simply pull both parts of the fishing line while making sure that it is even on both sides while it tightens on itself. Then there you have it the Palomar knot I have found this knot has extra strength and I rely on it most of the time while fishing. Really this knot is quite easy to tie and eventually you might even be able to tie it with your eyes closed. ( Pictures of the steps will be uploaded soon. )

The Wilderness
Ah, the great outdoors! The sun is shinning, the air is crisp and fresh. A nice fire warming my hands.
Hello everyone, I'm here to talk to you about little tips and tricks that I have learned about out on the trails. Which include tying knots, fire starting, good camping gear, things to pack, even shelter set ups. which will all include pictures and detailed instructions.
So, who else out there loves to hunt, fish, breathe that fresh smell of nature, get your hands dirty, and camp out in the wild? Well I sure do and I hope you all follow me along the way as I try to teach a few things and heck maybe if y’all are up to it wanna teach me a thing or two about different knots, gear, and how you pack your kits would be greatly appreciated.
I'm looking forward to everyone’s advice and hopefully some people will look to seek my advice, but just remember I’m not a professional, everything I do I’ve simply learned from other people and this is all opinions based on my experiences and personal feelings about things.
